Jud has over twenty years of stage and screen experience, from Europe to the US.
He’s the recipient of a British National Theatre Award as Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal
of Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet (alongside Michael Sheen) with the Royal Exchange Theatre
Company as well as a UK Evening News Award for Best Supporting Actor for the British Premiere
of Neil Simon’s Biloxi Blues.
He’s been a lead actor on and off the West End, alongside the likes of Julie Harris, Michael Sheen,
Alfred Molina and Timothy West and performed on stages from the Theatre Royal to Off-
Broadway at the prestigious Irish Repertory Theatre.
Shimmer (his one-person show), was hailed Off-Broadway and ran for almost three years,
transferring twice to theatres in Los Angeles.

As a Director, Jud mapped out the the LA Premiere of Tucumcari at the Matrix Theatre, starring
Alysia Reiner (Orange is the New Black).
He also wrote, produced, directed and acted in the festival feature film, The Peppermint Tree.
He appeared on the NBC drama, First Years with Samatha Mathis, played a supporting role as
Tony Todd's henchman, Fitz, in Candyman and led the charge in many other productions, both
on stage and on the screen.
Jud is a graduate of the New York School of Performing Arts and the Academy of Live and
Recorded Arts (London).
